Enhanced mobile device management functionality for Google Apps.
Google Apps Mobile Management now offers expanded device management controls integrated into the admin control panel for Android and Google Sync devices. Key updates include the ability to configure granular policies at the organizational unit level, control device activation to manage which devices can connect to user data, and a device console to view all connected mobile devices. Additionally, administrators can now track mobile usage and trends through graphs in the Reports tab.

Users can now browse the Google Apps directory from within Gmail Contacts.
Users can now browse the entire Google Apps directory for their domain from within Gmail Contacts without having to search. This feature allows users to see a complete list of contacts for their domain in alphabetical order, which is especially useful when the exact name or spelling of a person is unknown. To access this, users can click 'Directory' in the left sidebar within Gmail Contacts.

Ability to restrict file downloads for non-Google editor file types in Google Docs.
Google Docs has introduced a feature that allows users to restrict the downloading of non-Google editor file types, including .ppt, .pdf, video, and image files. Users can enable this restriction by selecting the file and choosing the option from the 'More' menu or by right-clicking a document in the docslist and selecting 'prevent viewers from downloading'.

Google has released version 2.3 of the Google Apps Migration for Microsoft Exchange tool, which introduces several improvements including pre-migration diagnostics to check for configuration and authentication errors, detailed migration reports for better error tracking, and an IMAP server list to improve performance. Additionally, the update includes new command line options for throttling and diagnostics, as well as a multi-threaded data estimation feature for significantly faster overall estimations.

Deprecation of the Gmail App for BlackBerry
Beginning November 22, 2011, Google will end support for the native Gmail App for BlackBerry. While users who have already installed the app may continue to use it, the app will no longer be supported by Google or available for download. BlackBerry users are encouraged to access Gmail through the mobile web app via their device's web browser.

When adding guests to an event, users can click the 'Suggested times' link to open a popup displaying available time slots based on the calendars the user has access to, allowing for quick selection and automatic updating of the event time.

Ability to embed spreadsheet charts directly into Google Sites.
Google Sites now allows users to display charts directly from spreadsheets. Once a spreadsheet is selected, the editor allows users to pick existing charts from that spreadsheet to embed into a Site.
