Updated user interface for the App Access Control panel in the Admin console.
Google has updated the user interface for the App Access Control section of the Admin console to help administrators more easily view trusted or blocked applications, see a list of all applications being accessed by users, and view Google Services within their organization. New built-in interoperability between Google Meet and Cisco Webex.
Google Meet is introducing built-in video conferencing interoperability with Cisco Webex, allowing users to join Webex meetings from Google Meet hardware devices and join Google Meet calls from supported Cisco Webex devices. While core video conferencing features are supported, some advanced features like polls, breakout rooms, and dual-screen support may be unavailable. Admins can enable or disable this feature for specific organizational units via the Google Meet Hardware Settings page in the Admin console.

Google Forms API is now available in open beta.

Labels-driven sharing restrictions via Workspace DLP integration are launching soon.

Google Meet hosts and co-hosts can now lock all participants’ audio and video from iOS devices, which allows them to mute all participants or prevent the use of cameras to reduce disruptions. Previously, these lock settings were only available on computers. The audio and video lock settings apply to all participants regardless of the device used to enable the lock.

Start and join meetings and audio calls from 1:1 chats using Google Chat in Gmail on mobile.
Users can now start or join meetings and audio calls directly from 1:1 chats in Google Chat within the Gmail app on Android and iOS. To initiate a call, users can select the phone or video icon in the top right corner of a 1:1 chat, or select the phone/video chip to join an existing call. Missed calls are indicated by red phone or video icons within the conversation and chat roster.

New admin control to manage the display of user availability across Google Workspace products.
Google is introducing a new Admin setting that allows administrators to control whether a user's Google Calendar status, such as 'out of office', is visible across other Google Workspace products like Google Chat and Gmail. This setting is enabled by default and can be disabled at the domain or organizational unit (OU) level to provide greater control over user information visibility.
