Google Chat is introducing huddles, which are instant-on, audio-first meetings powered by Google Meet. Huddles allow users to quickly connect in direct messages, group messages, and spaces for real-time collaboration without leaving the Chat interface. Users can start with audio and later add video or share their screens, and the Meet video button is moving to the Chat header to provide a single entry point for calling, huddling, or sharing Meet links.

Asus is introducing a refreshed portfolio of Google Meet certified hardware room kits developed with AVer, designed for various room sizes. These kits feature a slimmer compute system with a device lifespan extending to September 2030, Mimo Myst controllers, AVer Fone 540 speakermics, and AVer cameras (Cam340+ for small/medium rooms and Cam 520 Pro3 for large rooms) with built-in room framing. The kits are available today for all Google Workspace customers in supported countries via resellers.
