Google Meet adds more screen reader options for in-meeting reactions.
To improve accessibility for users with vision disabilities, Google Meet is introducing several new screen reader options for in-meeting reactions. Users can now customize their experience by choosing to disable reaction announcements, play a sound for all reactions, announce only the emoji, or announce both the emoji and the sender. These settings can be adjusted during a meeting via the Shift+R shortcut or through the Settings menu under Reactions > Accessibility.

Google Calendar has improved the syncing experience with third-party calendar services, such as Outlook, to ensure more reliable event synchronization and reduced inbox clutter. The update introduces additional filterable emails for recurring event updates, featuring banners that guide users on how to create filters to hide these sync notifications. Additionally, the Envelope-Sender address has been updated to improve DMARC alignment reliability when delivering to third-party recipients.
