New Google Apps Control Panel Dashboard user interface.
Google is rolling out a new user interface for the Control Panel Dashboard to simplify the layout and bring commonly used actions and setup tasks to the main page. The rollout begins April 30, 2012, for Rapid and Scheduled release tracks, with Education and Government customers expected to receive the update between late-May and early-June 2012.

Introduction of administrator roles for managing Control Panel privileges.
Google has introduced a new system for managing administrator privileges in the Control Panel. Instead of assigning privileges on a per-user basis, administrators can now use predefined roles such as Help Desk, Services, and Groups, or create their own custom roles. For users who previously had delegated administrator privileges, Google Apps has automatically created corresponding custom roles.
