Google Workspace developers can now generally use the spaces.create method in import mode to create group chats when migrating from other messaging platforms to Google Chat.

Additionally, users 18 years and older with Gemini Education or Education Premium add-ons can access AI-powered features like 'Help me create' to generate editable storyboards and video drafts from prompts and Google Drive documents.

Google Slides is introducing a new collection of modern, professionally designed templates to help users build presentations faster. These templates cater to business users (sales pitches, product roadmaps), education users (lesson plans, project reports), and collaborative teams (milestone celebrations, workshop facilitation). Users can access these templates via a new 'Templates' button in the toolbar or through the Insert > Templates menu, allowing them to insert entire sets or specific slides to jumpstart their design process.
