Google is adding the ability to insert hyperlinks into cells within the Google Sheets app for iOS devices. Users can insert a link by selecting a cell, clicking the '+' icon in the top left corner, and selecting 'Insert' then 'Link'. The app also provides options to edit or remove existing links.

Enhanced spam protection through automatic labeling of suspected spam messages in Google Voice

Extends the suspected spam caller warnings to SMS messages on Android and iOS devices. Users will see these labels within the message and can either confirm a suspected spam message, or mark a labeled message as not spam.

Birthday decorations for people cards in Google Contacts and across various Google Workspace products.

In Google Contacts and across various Google Workspace products, you’ll begin to notice birthday decorations when hovering over another user’s people card. Birthday decorations will be displayed on your birthday if you’ve added your birthday to your Google Account profile and you’ve set the information to be visible to others.

Dual display support is now available for Poly Studio X Series devices in Google Meet.

Google Meet now supports dual displays on Poly Studio X50, X52, and X70 devices, allowing users to view meeting participants and shared content simultaneously on separate screens. This update improves meeting engagement by ensuring that shared presentations do not obscure the view of other participants. To use this feature, devices must be updated to Poly OS 4.0.1 or higher.

Google has increased the maximum number of rows returned from BigQuery in Connected Sheets. Pivot tables have been expanded from 30,000 to 50,000 rows, and data extracts have been expanded from 25,000 to 50,000 rows. Along with these limit increases, performance improvements have been implemented for creating pivot tables, deleting extracts, and manipulating data within pivot tables.

Google Meet is expanding its captioning capabilities to support more languages, including several Arabic dialects, Bengali, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English (UK), Gujarati, Hindi, and various South African languages such as isiXhosa and Zulu.

Google Chat on web now automatically corrects misspelled words to reduce typos. Corrected words are indicated with a gray underline, similar to the functionality found in Gmail and Google Docs. This feature is rolling out to all English users.
