By expanding data regions coverage to Google Classroom user indices, we hope to better support our customers’ data location preferences and give them greater control.

Google Classroom now supports data regions coverage for primary user data in the U.S. and E.U.

Google is extending data regions coverage to primary user data for Google Classroom for the U.S. and E.U. data regions. This update allows customers to choose a specific geographic location for their covered data at rest to better support organizational or compliance needs and provide greater control over data location preferences.
