The Google Docs app for Android has now been enhanced for tablet devices with Android 3.0+ (Honeycomb) and above.
With a new design, we’ve customized the look to make the most of the larger screen space on tablets. The layout includes a three-panel view, which allows you to navigate through filters and collections, view your document list, and see document details, all at once.

The following features are now available to Google Apps domains: Format painter: Format painter allows you to copy the style of your text, including font, size, color and other formatting options and apply it somewhere else in your document. Drag & Drop images in Drawings: If you’re using the latest version of Chrome, Safari, or Firefox, you can now drag an image from your desktop and drop it directly in the drawing canvas.

Users can now share Google Docs, spreadsheets, presentations, and files with entire groups. To do this, select 'Share', choose 'Invite people...', and enter the group's email address to grant edit or view permissions.

Users can now apply themes to forms created in Google Docs. By clicking the 'Theme' button at the top of a form, users can select and apply a theme that will be visible to respondents when they access the form in a window, although themes are not visible when replying via an embedded form in an email.

Control who can edit individual sheets in Google Docs spreadsheets.
Google Docs spreadsheets now allow users to protect individual sheets. By selecting the 'Protect sheet' option from the sheet's name menu, users can specify exactly who is allowed to edit that specific sheet, providing finer control over spreadsheet collaboration.
