Google Forms now automatically saves response progress as drafts for 30 days.
When responding to a Google Form, Quiz, or Quiz assignment in Classroom while signed into a Google account, progress will be automatically saved as a draft for 30 days from the last edit or until the submission is complete. Form owners and editors have the option to disable this feature via Settings > Presentation > Restrictions.
