This allows them to identify potential issues with device configurations and quickly resolve them, ensuring proper functionality. For example, admins can quickly identify devices that have the Jamboard service turned off, meaning the Desk 27 and Board 65 devices will no longer be able to launch Jamboard directly on the device.

Google Meet hardware devices will now adhere to Calendar and Jamboard service ON/OFF statuses.
Starting April 22, 2024, Google Meet hardware devices, including Series One Board 65 and Desk 27, will follow the service status of Calendar and Jamboard. For devices to access an assigned calendar, the Calendar service must be ON for the organizational unit. Similarly, Jamboard will only be accessible on these devices if the Jamboard service status is ON.
