Users can now customize the display format of people chips in Google Sheets. In addition to the default display name, options for 'Last name, First name' and 'Email address' are now available via the Format > Smart chips menu.

Bulk conversion of email data to people chips via suggestions in Google Sheets.

Google Sheets now provides a 'Convert to people chips' suggestion when users click into a data range containing email addresses, allowing them to preview and convert the data into people chips in bulk with a single click.

Google Sheets has implemented several speed enhancements for common tasks: pasting data between spreadsheets is now up to 50% faster, setting up filter conditions is up to 50% faster, and the loading of existing data in spreadsheets is up to 30% faster.
