This feature synthesizes raw information from various sources into clean, structured tables, which can then be exported to Google Sheets. Examples of its use include creating study tables for exams, organizing meeting transcripts into action items, building competitor comparison tables, streamlining curriculum mapping, and synthesizing clinical trial outcomes.

Educators can now assign public NotebookLM notebooks as assignments in Google Classroom.

This update allows educators to attach publicly shared NotebookLM notebooks to assignments in Google Classroom, expanding beyond just the notebooks they create or own. This significantly broadens the educational content available to students, integrating public learning materials, including those from partners like OpenStax. Students can access source materials and interact with NotebookLM's AI features directly within their assignments.
