This menu provides faster access to existing settings like text density, inbox type, reading panes, and themes, while the full settings menu remains accessible via a 'See all settings' button.

New user setting to hide or show Google Meet in Gmail

Google is introducing a user-level setting that allows individuals to choose whether to hide or show Google Meet features within their Gmail interface. While administrators can already disable video calling for an entire organization via the Admin console, this update provides end users with personal control over the visibility of Meet in their Gmail account.
