Google is improving the consistency of Gmail data by integrating all Gmail log events from the Security Investigation Tool (SIT) into Google Workspace logs and reports in BigQuery. This update provides administrators with a more complete picture of Gmail activity, including device types and post-delivery actions such as message opens, deletions, link clicks, and attachment downloads, through newly added data columns in BigQuery.
