Google Sheets is introducing an open beta that allows users to import and convert sensitive .xlsx Excel files into client-side encrypted Google Sheets. The original encrypted Excel file remains unchanged during this process. The feature supports files up to 20MB and a maximum of 5 million cells, though any unsupported Excel features will be ignored during the import process.

Q&A moderation is now available for Google Meet.
Meeting hosts can now enable Q&A moderation, which allows them to review and approve questions before they are shared with meeting attendees. This feature is available for meetings and in-domain live streams on both web and mobile devices, helping hosts ensure that questions are appropriate and on topic.

Google Classroom now supports grade export to Skyward Qmlativ SIS.
Google Classroom teachers can now export their grades to Skyward Qmlativ, a third-party Student Information System (SIS). This integration allows administrators to establish a connection between the district SIS and Google Classroom, enabling teachers to link their classes and sync assignments and grades, which reduces manual data entry and duplicative work.

In-line replies are now available within announcement spaces in Google Chat.
Google Chat has introduced an optional in-line reply feature for announcement spaces, allowing space managers to enable members to respond to or discuss announcements. For newly created announcement spaces, the feature is enabled by default for all members, while for existing spaces, it is enabled by default for space managers only. Space managers can toggle this setting via the space menu under permissions.
