Google Calendar now supports sharing any calendar you own or have permission to share directly from Android devices.
Previously, the functionality to share Google Calendars was exclusively available on the web. This week, Google is extending this capability to Android devices, allowing users to share any calendar they own or have permission to share with other users and groups directly from their mobile device. The sharing settings available on the web, including the ability to share a calendar with individuals, a domain, or the entire public, are now mirrored on Android.

Admins can configure Calendar interoperability with Microsoft Office 365 using the Microsoft Graph API, replacing the existing Exchange Web Services (EWS) API.
Starting May 28, 2025, admins can utilize the Microsoft Graph API to enable Calendar interoperability with Microsoft Office 365. This update replaces the Exchange Web Services (EWS) API, which Microsoft will discontinue support for on October 1, 2026. Admins can configure interoperability through the Admin console under Calendar Interop Management. The update also includes a streamlined user interface, improved troubleshooting, and allows admins to grant access to only Exchange calendar data.

Google Calendar is improving visibility for shared calendars by allowing users with the 'Make changes to events' permission to see the members of the shared calendar. This ensures that users creating events on a shared calendar are aware of who those events are shared with. For developers, the Acl.list and Acl.get methods will now return shared calendar members, and Acl.watch will provide notifications regarding changes to those members.

Admins can now assign Calendar resources to specific organizational units.
Google Workspace admins can now assign Calendar resources, such as rooms, projectors, or company cars, to specific organizational units (OUs). Once assigned, the resource will be governed by the policies and settings of the assigned OU, including data location policies. By default, resource calendars are associated with the root organization.
