In Google Contacts and across various Google Workspace products, you’ll begin to notice birthday decorations when hovering over another user’s people card. Birthday decorations will be displayed on your birthday if you’ve added your birthday to your Google Account profile and you’ve set the information to be visible to others.

Birthday decorations will now appear when hovering over a user's people card in Google Contacts and across various Google Workspace products. These decorations are displayed if the user has added their birthday to their Google Account profile and set the visibility to be shared with others.
