Google has released an updated version of the Google Apps Directory Sync tool. Key improvements include the ability to synchronize only passwords that have changed since the last sync, an option to prevent the suspension or deletion of admin accounts not found in the LDAP server, and improved performance for the sync simulation UI. Additionally, the tool now supports Base64-encoded passwords, uses UTF-8 encoding for logs by default, reorganizes the logging level menu for better verbosity visibility, and adds logging for suspended accounts that are not deleted due to configuration settings.
